In case you haven't been keeping track of exact the exact date (which I barely have), last Saturday was the third year anniversary of this blog. And since it's a big milestone, I'm using it to announce some big news.
I'm shutting this site down.
But wait! That's not all!
I know it's been a while since I last posted on here, and it's been even longer since I posted on here consistently. Part of the reason is that I've been sick of this blog's direction and sick of its name and wanted to have a fresh start. That's why, after much contemplation and over-contemplation, I've decided to start a new site. It's an attempt to go back to some of MDW Blog's roots, while also leaving room for it to explore some new terrain. I've got some new ideas that I felt just wouldn't work as well on here, and I think this move is for the best. The new blog is called:
BREAK THE TWINK
Its current address is http://break-the-twink.blogspot.com.
The pages on this site will stay up as a kind of archive, and I'm sure I'll be referring back to it on the new site, but BREAK THE TWINK is going to likely take on a life of its own. It's a Part II Plus sort of thing. So if you're still following this site, after these weeks of inactivity, update your bookmarks and your link lists to the new site. It's been a good run on here. See you at the other site.

It sure seems like 3 years is about the breaking point for most guys who keep blogs. I'm approaching that mark too and I'm thinking of cutting back or closing it all together. I look forward to your new blog.
