Joan Walsh, and More Porn for Race Politics Students

I love Salon.com's Joan Walsh and in this clip about Glenn Beck calling Barack Obama a racist, she perfectly articulates the relationship between economic domination over America's social interests and 500 years of racial oppression. Only a year ago I wouldn't have believed that a discussion this open would ever make it on TV.

Will Clark's Bad Boys on the Hudson - Part 2

So here's the follow up to Part 1 of the set of photos I tool at Will Clark's Bad Boys on the Hudson cruise on Sunday night. Part 2 is the more explicit half! You can check out the pics after the jump!

Will Clark's Bad Boys on the Hudson - Part 1

Last night I went to my first Sea Tea in Manhattan for Will Clark's Bad Boys on the Hudson. Sea Tea is basically a lot of gay guys, gogo boys, house music, and liquor crammed into a boat and sailing around the Hudson for a couple hours. I got a lot of great pictures that are definitely Not Safe For Work (not that much on this blog is). This is the first half of the pics. I'm going to start off tame and get gradually more explicit...

There was an intense thunderstorm before we got on the boat, so we hung out at the Ramrod for a while. After leaving, on our way to the dock, there was this rainbow that appeared over the village that seemed too fitting to not get a picture of.

Here's a pic my friend took of Colin Steele forcing himself onto me. He's a great kisser!

Me and Duke Rivers

Between calling me over and the next picture, Mike pulled my face into his crotch, which is now on the cameras of everyone who was on the boat except me (possibly readers?).

Some guy who got at both Jonny Mack and Torez:

I'm gonna stop for now because I've got more uploading to do, but there's much more action in part 2!

Firefighters, People Who Like Firefighters

An attractive firefighter

Normally I'm not that into firefighters. It's always been my observation that the type of people who think firefighters are "sexy" are usually (fat) straight women, the type who think Patrick Swayze is the best looking man on the planet. You know, women like this:

Personally, I like cops more. So does just about every gay guy I've ever asked. The pictures I saw earlier of New York firefighters from this new calendar (I guess they're allowed to do it again) that's coming out made me wonder if I was changing my mind. These boys are alright, but they looked better on my iPhone. Then I saw the Daily News article that showed all 12 of them, and most of them are pretty gross, so my previous opinion still stands.

So... I'm posting the pictures of the attractive men:

Hardball on Henry Louis Gates, Jr.

Chris Matthews takes on the arrest of last week of Henry Louis Gates, Jr., a Harvard professor and director of the W. E. B. Du Bois Institute for African and African American Research. I was really impressed by this clip. I don't think I've ever seen as open a discussion on race, and in particular images of black masculinity, on TV. CNN should be paying attention...

Music Video Time Capsule!

This is both embarrassing and awesome..! I was looking through some folders on my seven-year old Sony Vaio desktop (which has outlived a laptop I bought only four years ago) and found something I couldn't believe I still had - a folder full of music videos that I hadn't opened since 2005!

The reason why this is a big deal is that it's from right before YouTube. Back in those days, if you were stoned or drunk and wanted to watch a certain music video, you had to download the whole file to your computer. Everyone wanted high-speed internet not only for the ability to download songs illegally in less than a minute, but because it made downloading and watching music videos actually feasible - that could take days on a 56k modem.

Basically I have a record of all the dumb music videos me and my friends put on when we smoked weed when we were innocent little high school kids. It's funny cause you can tell I'm probably gay by the few random campy ones scattered around. So if you feel like judging me as a 17-year old, click the link below to check out the collection...

Ricky Sinz Unzipped Cover

While I'm not really into leather corsets, I still think Ricky Sinz looks fucking hot on the cover of the recent issue of Unzipped:

Check out this behind the scenes video of the photo shoot:
