they are approved by The World Health Organization and used world wide. The FDA want's you to think there are no other reliable tests and yes, some brands were not reliable and most were removed from circulation but I made sure I got ones that were WHO approved. The FDA has it's head up it's ass, as usual.
Don't get me wrong, I think you are one smart dude not to BB. I respect that and admire you for it. It's hard do describe the feelings (urges) that go along with BB and why sometimes they are overwhelming. I only dabble once in a while but if you log onto bareback.com, you will see over 34,000 members who have chosen that way of life. It is almost the feeling of Poz is cool... it scares me. Which is why I choose to know my play buddies and why I do a test b4 anything happens. So many guys say they don't BB but I can tell you for a fact probably 50% of those who say they don't, actually do.

I have to admit I fully agree with you on this subject. Allot of people think it is cool to be HIV+. I have to say , since I have been neg for so many years. Yes in my younger days I fuck anything that moved. I am better than McDonald's I have serviced over a million people by myself. people need somewhat of a reality check. I have lost so many freinds to this disease. If or when I do go out. I normally carry a condom with me, but never had to use one yet. for I do not pick up people that often. I get to know them first and then whatever happens happens. I do use new ones and replace the one I carry around allot. Now you heard my gripe. Sorry for taken up so much room.

I don't know what planet this guy lives on. There's a 3 month window during which he can be infected (and at his most contagious) and during which standard tests will show him as being HIV- (more sensitive tests "only" have a 6 week window).
If he barebacks with any frequency, he will, in most likelihood, become HIV+ eventually. Serosorting is a very risky sport, due to the above-mentioned window and also due to the abundance of liars and people in denial.
Ironically, you're better off barebacking with someone who is HIV+ and on medication (and who subsequently has a very low viral load). Not that I would recommend that, but just so you understand the odds.
Just be save and use a condom.

What "n." said. The concept of "taking the test right in front of you" looks really good on paper--but HIV infection unfortunately has that "window" of opportunity that renders that kind of "insta-test" mentality to be false comfort. I'm also not down with this guy pointing out a statistic like how many people are registered at a bareback web site, as if to put you at ease with how mainstream barebacking is. (In fact, he's saying a lot of things to try his damndest to put you at ease with it. His subtlety needs work.)
